Der folgende Brief aus Bangalore, Indien wurde im Magazin des Standard Motor Club im Dezember 1990 veröffentlicht:
A PRIZE ONE FROM BANGALORE
Thank you very much for your letter of May 23,'90 together with the enc1cosures. I have made out the application in my son's name as the car now stands in his name and my name for Associate Membership.
I am enclosing herewith some photographs of the car taken when we got a prize for the best maintained car in a competition held by the Bangalore Traffic Police recently.
My grandfather, Sir M.N. Krishna Rao, served as the First Member of Council and officiating Dewan of the Barstwhile Princely State of Mysore and he got awarded his Knighthood in the year 1934. My grandfather purchased this car in 1935, on the recommendation of our driver who served us for over 50 years as its driver cum mechanic. In one of the photo's he is standing beside the car which may be of interest to you and the Membership an a whole.
I will be writing to you again shortly.
